Notes from Tennessee
Summer ‘26
running scared from something, running scared towards something else…
Notes from Tennessee is Giselle Linder’s debut spoken word EP, releasing in the summer of 2026. The project was born from four poems written after a sweltering August spent staying in Tennessee, bouncing between a hotel room, a motel room, a tiny house on the city limits and a rural inter-faith commune. These four pieces were published in Linder’s second poetry collection, ‘Are You Having a Good Time Yet?"‘.
In the wake of this collection’s release, she began to experiment with recording these poems, and added two more pieces to the line-up in order to flesh out the world, ultimately forming a six-track EP.
Visuals for the project shot and directed by Isabella Cullen.
Music composed by Saint Walker, with contributions from Giselle Linder.
